July 10, 17, 24, 31: Sunset Sips and Farm Delights at Eckert’s Farm

  • What: Eckert’s Farm in Belleville is turning its Cider Shed into a sunset-viewing venue every Wednesday in July. Enjoy specialty cocktails, seasonable snacks and shareable plates, hard ciders made with Eckert’s blackberries, peaches, strawberries and apples, and, of course, those stunning views.

July 12: St. Louis International Food Tour

July 12: Let Them Eat Art

  • What: Maplewood’s beloved Bastille Day-themed celebration of the arts is back for another year with live art demonstrations, live music and food and drinks from area restaurants. The entire downtown is transformed into a festive scene, with extended retail hours, event-only promotions at area shops and restaurants and a cake scavenger hunt.

July 13: St. Louis Vegan Market

July 14: Sister Cities International Festival

  • What: The St. Charles riverfront provides the setting for this multicultural affair celebrating its French, German and Irish sister cities. Revelers will be treated to food, drink, vendors, cultural activities and live international music.

July 15: Eckert’s Farm Dinner with Perennial on Lockwood

  • What: To celebrate the second anniversary of its Cider Shed, Eckert’s Farm in Belleville is hosting a collaborative dinner with chef Cameron Settle of Perennial on Lockwood. Guests will be treated to a four-course dinner featuring Eckert’s Farm produce, a welcome cocktail, a tractor ride around the farm and 2 pounds of peaches.

July 16: Best Buds: A Canna-Culinary Experience at Indo

July 17: National Hot Dog Day at Steve’s Hot Dogs

  • What: Steve’s Hot Dogs, home of the official hot dog of St. Louis, is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its biggest holiday of the year. Enjoy giveaways, lawn games, live music and its first-annual hot dog eating contest, held at the adjacent Ritz Park.

July 28: Ice Cream Social at Forest Park Benefiting Nurses for Newborns

  • What: Get your fill of the area’s tastiest ice cream for a good cause at the third-annual Nurses for Newborns Ice Cream Social at the World’s Fair Pavilion in Forest Park. Local ice cream vendors will be on hand dishing out their signature treats, activities with Craft Alliance and the Magic House, a drum circle and an obstacle course add to the merriment.
