The Career Achievement Network is excited to present the Fall Career Closet Pop Up series. 

The Career Closet provides students with business premier and business casual clothes for interviews, career fairs, formal events, or any career-related function, both on and off campus. Thanks to the generous donations from alumni, faculty, staff, and community members, the Career Closet can help students make a great first impression at upcoming Career Achievement Network events. 

The Career Achievement Network invites students to browse the curated collection of professional clothing to help them prepare for the upcoming fall career fairs, industry panels, and interviews. More information about these events can be found in Handshake. 

September Pop Ups and Prepare for the Fair events will be at McGuffey Hall from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the following dates:

Monroe business owner hosts networking event for young professionals

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – A local business is bringing young professionals together by hosting networking events every other Wednesday.

Chatauqua Watson Frost, owner of Southern Charm, hopes her event will help local entrepreneurs.

“We don’t know what’s all out there and a lot of people don’t know that I’m here. So that’s what networking Wednesdays are about. Bringing different entrepreneurs together so that we can help each other so that we can support one another; that’s what this is about,” Frost explained.

On Wednesday, July 24, Southern Charm hosted an event for local artists.

“A lot of people don’t see artistry as a viable career and I know there are probably people who are super talented who are unsure of where to take that talent or where it can go and I just want people to see the different opportunities they have,” said Executive Administrator for Southern Charm, Jessica Walker.
